American Legion Auxiliary membership is limited to spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, and direct or adopted descendants within two degrees of consanguinity of members of the American Legion; as well as the above relationships who served in either of the following periods: April 6, 1917, to November 11, 1918, and any time after December 7, 1941, who served on active duty in the Armed Forces of any of the governments associated with the United States during either eligibility period and died in the line of duty or after honorable discharge; and to those women who of their own right are eligible for membership in the American Legion.
Membership eligibility is open to all ages. Annual dues are $40.00. All members under the age of 18 are considered Junior members with the annual dues only $8.00. Many of these young members continue their membership as Senior members when they reach the age of 18.
Auxiliary meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the second Monday of each month at the Hackensack Legion Post. Please join the American Legion Auxiliary to help serve those who have served you.
